Another disappointing stat line for Neitzel: 2 points, zero assists, 2 turnovers.  The Timberwolves did finally win a game.

Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus, is interested in being a Spartan.  He’s 6’2″ and currently rated a 3-start prospect in the 2009 class.

Ohio State gets a transfer of the 7-foot variety from UAB.

Luke Winn predicts that Purdue will win three straight Big Ten titles.  Also points to Suton as MSU’s unsung hero.

I don’t really know anything about Marcus Jordan, but I’d be pumped to get him based solely on his pedigree. But do you think that Izzo would be willing to use a scholarship on him?

“6. The final verdict on Detroit as a Final Four city will be: Bad logo, bad location. (A burning tire? Really?)”

Did you catch this in Winn’s column? Why does everybody hate Detroit?

My sense is that Jordan’s not someone who’s been high on Izzo’s radar, but his stock appears to be rising rapidly, so who knows.

As for Detroit, I’d like to be true to the city–but I don’t think it’s going to stack up vs. an Indianapolis, Minneapolis, or San Antonio in terms of providing visitors a wide range of dining/entertainment options. And the burning tire logo is a little creepy.
