I had really hoped we were done with the Delvon Roe injury updates . . .
The LSJ is reporting (via Joe Rexrode’s blog) that Roe hasn’t practiced the last two days:
Coach Tom Izzo said Roe is questionable as of today for Wednesday’s Big Ten opener at Minnesota and would be considered doubtful if the forward can’t practice Tuesday. Roe said the injury isn’t as bad as it looked and that he’ll try and test it tomorrow.
One saving grace in terms of matching up against Minnesota if Roe can’t play (or is limited) is that Idong Ibok probably matches up well defensively with 6’11″ freshman Ralph Sampson III. Nevertheless, it sure would have been nice go enter conference play with our starting five near 100% healthy.
Back to the ledge…
