I narrowed the list of nominees down to 20. I don’t know how to restrict people to voting for only four–so we’re on the honor system.
In related news, your DVD winner is Seer. (Send me your mailing address and I’ll ship it out to you.)

I voted for John Hannah, Mateen Cleaves, George Webster and Ron Mason because the first place you think of when you hear their names is Michigan State. (Think about it…Magic and Miller you might think Laker or Sabre if you weren’t a Spartan). I would be fine putting Tom Izzo up there instead of Mateen, but his body of work isn’t complete…hopefully his best days are still ahead of him. I definitely would put Biggie on before Duffy…but my thought process was without Biggie there really isn’t a Duffy, but without John Hannah and his plans for MSC there is no Biggie.
I’m glad to see that it wasn’t possible to vote for George Perles.
Yay, free stuff.
I voted Duffy Daugherty because he’s the most successful MSU Football coach and basically the real bright spot in the program’s history, so far.
Ron Mason because MSU has been a traditional hockey power, and he’s the best person out of that program, even though I did push Ryan Miller for nomination.
Magic is magic.
And Izzo makes it, because anything about MSU being a basketball school has everything to do with his building up and maintaining the program. What he’s done over the last decade is incredible.
